When you are doing temperature measurements, keep, if possible, optical connectors outside thetemperature controlled room.
This because most of the temperature test in the labs are done rather fast (high Ä temperature in time).When, for example, the temperature is changed rapidly from (far) below to above zero degrees Celsiuswithout humidity control, it is possible that moisture willappear between optical connections(condensation).
In that case the attenuation of the optical connection can increase for a short period of time and this canbe of influence on the transmission quality.
Make sure that you know what you are doing and in case of doubt consult an expert.
