The SC Fiber Optical Adapter is equipped with an internal open dust cover construction. The SC Fiber Optic Adapter's internal open dust cover ensures that the connector remains clean and free of debris, thus maintaining optimal optical signal transmission and minimizing the risk of signal loss or degradation. Surplus Fiber also offers options with or without flanges. The flange provides additional stability and helps to securely mount the adapter to various panels or devices.
SC Fiber Optical Adapter are developed to couple and mate two SC connector plugs. Our range of high-quality SC adapters have high precision alignment sleeves for reliability and improved reconnect ability. For single mode and multimode applications, a ceramic sleeve is supplied. The housing is available in different colors with options for flange or flangeless body, metal clips or inbuilt clips. Aprotective cap is provided at each end of the SC Fiber Optical Adapter with the same color as the adapter.
