MPO fiber optic patch cable is a high density fiber optic cable used for fiber optic interconnection. It usually consists of a set of MPO connectors and multiple fibers for connecting optical modules, optical switches and other network equipment.

The structure of MPO fiber patch cord is as follows:
1.MPO connector: MPO connector is a high-density fiber optic connector, usually consisting of 12 or 24 fibers. the design of MPO connector makes it possible to connect and disconnect multiple fibers quickly, thus increasing the efficiency of data centers and other fiber interconnect applications.

2. Fiber: The fiber used in MPO fiber patch cord is usually multimode fiber or single-mode fiber, depending on the needs of the application. Multimode fiber is suitable for short-haul communications, while single-mode fiber is suitable for long-haul communications.

Core branching: The fiber in an MPO fiber patch cord is usually core-branched to connect each of the 12 or 24 fibers of the MPO connector to the optical module or other fiber connector of the target device. Core branching can be achieved in different ways, such as chip branching, cabling rack branching, bundle branching, etc.

4. Fiber optic sleeving: The fibers in MPO fiber patch cord are usually sleeved together to improve transmission density and reliability. Fiber optic sleeves can be made of different materials, such as PVC, LSZH, etc.
