Fern Trading announced that it is merging Jurassic Fibre, Swish Fibre, Giganet and AllPoints Fiber into a single fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) business to accelerate full fiber delivery in the UK.
The businesses will combine their regional operations and create a national wholesale network. The aim is for the four companies to pool their resources, knowledge and expertise to help deliver fiber optic network access across the UK.
Fern Trading's other two fiber brands, Vitrifi and Vorboss, are not part of the merger, but Fern Trading says they will continue to work closely with the combined group.
Jarlath Finnegan, Giganet's current chief executive, will lead the combined group forward. He explains: "All four companies are excited to build on the solid foundation that has been built over the past few years to form a combined effort. Together we will become even stronger through superior customer service and a relentless focus on technology and products. We look forward to expanding our national presence and providing complete fiber connectivity to even more customers."
